Welcome to my portfolio, I’m thrilled to have you here!

My work spans a variety of creative fields. I have a passion for animation and storytelling, and I love bringing worlds and characters to life.

Alongside my video projects, I have created three comics, one of which was my master’s thesis: a graphic novel about my father and his escape from Iran to Germany. The story is in German.

During my studies I worked on two Webtoons (Scorched (eng) Gnaden rennen (ger) and one Graphic Novel (Ich wollte doch nur Volleyball spielen (ger) my masters Thesis).

Hi there,

I’m Mercedeh Jahanshahi, but feel free to call me Mezze!

I have a Master’s degree in Media Design and work across different creative fields, mainly focusing on visual storytelling. For my master’s thesis, I created a graphic novel, which I’m currently continuing to develop for publication.

I also work in storyboarding and video editing, and I have experience in 2D animation. I even worked as a teaching assistant for my animation professor, Melanie Beisswenger.
